Caldwell Enterprise, Inc. was founded by Doug Caldwell over 40 years ago. What started as a small cabinet shop has grown into one of Northern California's most established custom cabinetry builders, without ever losing the craftsman's tradition it was built on.
Everything is designed, built, and installed under one roof.
We moved into our current Gridley facility in 1973 and have grown steadily ever since, adding three buildings and 17,000 square feet of shop space along the way. Today a team of 30 craftsmen designs, builds, and installs true custom cabinetry, not pre-fabricated boxes with a custom face bolted on.
Our showroom features dozens of cabinet door styles and wood species to help you find the right look for your project, along with 14 standard stain color samples available on request. Whatever your tastes run to, sleek and ultra-modern or a feel of classic architecture, we work to meet the needs of the most discerning clients.
